About Me

My photo
Mighty Joe
Texas, United States
Hello! My name is Joe Musselwhite and I'm on several forums where I have a screen name of Mighty Joe and lately I've been labeled as Dr. Grip! I LOVE and I am very passionate about anything Grip related! My main area of expertise is in collecting hand grippers of all types, brands, and varieties! I currently own possibly the World's Largest private collection of hand grippers (312 total currently)along with many other grip and strength related items such as vintage books, magazines, pictures, etc. I was a former Arm Wrestling Champion with 15 years of competitive experience and was a Silver Medalist in the 1991 AAA Stand Up Nationals, Men's RH, 90 kg. class. I have trained and coached many athletes from various backgrounds but my expertise lies in the iron game and helping others acquire strength through evidence based techniques and movements backed by science. I have an amazing wife (Tonya) and 3 children (all grown). I live in the east Texas area and work a full time job on top of training myself and others. My other areas of interest are kinesiology, anatomy, reading, iron game history and photography.
